injectors cleaning
I buy from both harbor freight and northern tool with good success. I cant justify snap on prices for how I use them. I bought a 9" pole saw from harbor freight and took down a 60' maple tree with it. All but the last 18' feet of it anyway and it still works fine. Even that surprised me.

EPA orders VW recall on Not So Clean Diesels

clutch dont release till on the floor
If you pump the clutch and it does not help or bleed the system you have and it does not help, dont buy a new master/slave set up because it wont help either. If you did not see any fluid loss from the hydros, that is most likely not the problem. I looked on Rock auto at slave cylinders for the 00 and the 02. While there were several different shown between the the two, there were several of the same also.

If the hydros were not opened they should have remained ok. Just to test, try pumping the clutch and see if it brings the pedal up. When my master cylinder went that is how my clutch acted until I got all the air out it. This would eliminate that as a problem. What clutch did you put in?- VP Swap
They came on 6 speeds with the HO engine.- Odd Vibration
65k on the first set. That matches my best on Micheline LTX's, 65k- Odd Vibration
I am on my second set of Cooper ATP's. First set did real well, hope these do too.- Odd Vibration
Guess I saw the 1300 and forgot about the other tires.- Odd Vibration
1000 to 1300 a year. I have never had anything to drive that little. Maybe in 3 1/2 years after I retire. If I get to that low a mileage Mike might beat me back from the moon.- Anyone use PEAK fluids?
I have been running the 80W-90 in mine for a while now. I do tow heavy but very seldom, about 2k to 3k a year. I move it about every 4 months. There seems to be no ill effect. No noises or leaky seals, the LS seems to be working properly. Think I am doing any harm to anything? 353k on it right now.- Bloodmoon / super moon / eclipse
The super moon part of it had to do with the fact the moon is at its closest point to the earth which made it appear even larger than normal. Apogee or perogee i forget which. All in all a pretty rare occurence. http://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-34375868 Nice pictures Bill.- Bloodmoon / super moon / eclipse
Drove back to Alabama tonight. Overcast all the way back from NC to Al. Managed a glimpse of the moon coming out of the shadow was all.- Greaseable UJOINTS
My list, although different, is about as long. Need some time at home to do them. Good luck with yours John.- VP died last night
at least the lift pump is acting normal.- VP died last night
I dont know that your ECM has failed. When mine failed it showed so many codes I got writers cramp. No code for the ECM being bad. The WTS worked and so did the fuel pump.- VP died last night
Starter going out? Same thing mine did when it went. How old is ti?- Where did you get your replacement pcm?
I have been the internet ECM route and was sorely disapointed. I have no idea if PCM's are any better.- Diagram for Oiling system
I have noticed when I pull the drain plug and just let it sit and drain that my filter is usually an inch or two low. If I pull the plug and go right after the filter it is full. Just recently noticed this. I like the filter being alittle low. Makes getting it out of the engine bay a lot cleaner. I change my oil both hot a cold.- No WTS light
Well there are many internet companies that profess that they can rebuild them for in the neighborhood of 5 to 700 dollars. I tried that route and it probably cost me near 4 times that. before I just bit the bullet and got one from a local mechanic thru Cummins. That cost $1400. I know of no one who can reliably rebuild the ECM. Even the ones thru the dealer or Cummins are remans, As this is a pricey part to replace, at least get your PCM back, hook it up and check you codes again and see what shows up. It would be better if you could clear your codes and then drive the truck some and see what codes come back. Might give us a better idea of what is going on. As pricey a part as the ECM is, you just dont want to buy one and hope that was the problem.- No WTS light
