  1. I should add a relay. Good idea.
  2. If fuel lab has a variable speed for pressure regulator system, screw the ecm. it would not be required for the fuel system except as a safety measure.
  3. Any codes? It should throw an overboost code.
  4. A quick google search looks like autozone and some other vendors in google shopping has them for 2-3 bucks. As another thought, you might try the DCPR7e. It is supposed to be a hotter plug which if you are getting sooted up without blow by and burning excessive oil or other issues, might help. Some reading. http://www.ngksparkplugs.com/tech_support/spark_plugs/p2.asp
  5. Awesome looking truck! Whats in the trailer? I am an Ebody guy.
  6. Chrysler has usually been a trend setter but they have rarely been the front runner for interior quality. There are days I wish I were a Chevy guy. Especially when it comes to finding parts for the old 60s and 70s stuff.
  7. Prepare for the economy tanking a bit threre in ND... at least slowing a little temporarily. There might be some good deals on guns, trucks, etc from the oilfield dudes who live paycheck to paycheck.
  8. Great letter. I agree with him.
  9. Nice. Did it come with the clips to our just the plastic?
  10. Cowboy, that is a really clean engine install. I like the attention to detail!
  11. the high school girls followed me around Parker. It was not the best look. I sold them for 1400 though!
  12. Current truck as it arrived... it was loud. Got the bling and gang tats removed in short order. At work near BFE, WY First Cummins. She was purty, but I got tired of the 5sp when I moved to the city.
  13. You and I have very similar trucks, complete with ATS transmissions. I am a shade smaller than you in injectors and turbo. I am still figuring out my settings with the new injectors and turbo. I used to be on SW4 and 5x3. I am starting with SW4 and 5x1. I have zero smoke after an initial puff and it is still pretty sporty with the new setup. EGTs have yet to get stable over 900 F. The REVO settings are interesting, I find that the torque management settings can make the truck shift late and hard depending on how extreme it gets. I want to try smarty only for a while, comp only for a while, and I wish I had a stand alone fueling box to test out. I like a fast truck, but tires are expensive!
  14. Sad. I wondered why he isn't around much anymore. I guess he went to the 6.7 land and is happy.
  15. Honestly, in my personal non professional opinion, as long as the chips are small, they will clear the housing. Just don't break the bit off in there. If this was a problem, you'd read about a lot more shelled turbos.
  16. As an LOL. I took it to a mechanic here at my base to get ball joints, alignment, coolant flush, and he was like diesel... Especially when I started saying things like "yeah, it doesn't have a stock fuel system... or stock injectors... or stock turbo... or fueling..." I will get it back on friday and should be able to start diagnosing the rest of the fuel system then. I think I am going to drive it nice for a month or so, turn the fuel px up a bit on the FASS, and then run the living heck out of it and see if it dies.
  17. No idea yet. Sorry. I will update when I get meaningful data.
  18. Drugs suck. Theives suck. I hate them all.
  19. Electronic shutoffs aren't always good. As many pro crooks show up with a doctored ecu. And getting into our rams is child's play for a pro. This is why I have insurance and a beater 1996 Saturn airport car. If somebody really wants my truck, they will get it.
  20. Mopar man. I followed your advice. Good px from the fass. Cracked 1 and 3. Fuel to 4... 1 dry. Not unexpected if 4 is where it's seized to. What the heck, opened 2 and 3. i had fuel to those. Button them all up, really open up 1 and get fuel to it. And it runs fine. I'm suspicious now, especially of the computer. Time will tell. I very well could have lost prime to the vp, but with my fass that would surprise me. I could have an air leak in the lift pump line though. I need to open up my snubbed on the fuel px gage a bit and see how low I can pull it down. The truck is in now for an alignment and possibly some front suspension work.
  21. Smarty has a program for that. Basically a no start or a crank and die function.
  22. Haven't had a chance to do anything with it. It isn't a good time for me to work on a immobile vehicle... I am going to see if a local shop can do it. If only my base hadn't gotten rid of their auto hobby shop.
