Ok guys a have a 2001 dodge 2500 diesel. It has 210,000 miles on it. Replaced the vp44 and put a fass lift pump on it 1 1/2 ago. About 2 mouths ago I was going down the highway and put it to the floor and it died on me. Would not start back up so I had it towed home. Late that day I try to restart it, it took a long time to get it started and it sounded and run like Crap. Like it was running on 2 or 3 legs. Towed it to dodge dealership. And they told me it was the injector pump. So I had it towed back to my house and order a new injector pump and put in one. But it is still running the same way. Like crapp.. I even try putting on a new ecm. But it still run like crap. …

What is the correct answer? Compressor nut BW S300 Compressor nut BW S400 This should be fun to see, .....but is that the right answer? I'm old school, show me proof. I was asked this & can't find a definite answer.

  3. Newbie here and I don't want to beat a dead horse,BUT,! Here I go. Have a 2000 3500 dually, 5spd ,4:10s 185000 miles. This thing is useless, very disappointing TRUCK,but I like it! On the same roads, pulling the same loads that I did with my 401 powered Jeep Cherokee. This TRUCK would never keep up! I have replaced the lift pump, injection pump, all the filters, clean the fuel system out, rebuilt the turbo, replace the gate valve. I have good fuel pressure, plenty of boost. Sucks fuel like it's free. Everything except for gate valve is stock. No exaggeration,,, it Hardly pulls my 1car trailor.Ready to burn it! I got it to carry my truck camper an tow my trailer with JEEP o…

I normally run royal purple, 5 quart capacity plus 1. I'm gonna run some pennzoil synchro mesh for my new re build break in then change over to something different. So I know to run synchro mesh, but I've heard of guys using redline and other stuff. What is y'alls recipes? I haven't seen a whole lot of synchro mesh options out there.

  6. ***I see this may not be posted in the correct subforum, probably should be in the Quadzilla vendor area but not sure how to delete and move it, mods?*** Hello all, I've been fiddling with tuning on my truck ever since I did the initial build with DDP 150s and a stage 1 GT3782R turbo I got cheap on eBay and fabbed into the truck. Loved the turbo sound but blew it up recently as it was on borrowed time at 40psi with 150s. I just did another round of work on it (build list below) and am at a loss on where to start with tuning as none of the tunes in the tune library run well at all on the truck. I've read and reread a ton of posts on tuni…

My AC has been working so far this yearbut is getting a bit warmer. It was hitting about 40* out the center vents but has crept up to about 55*. I put gauges on it and static pressure was about 80 psi. Started the motor and the high pressure is about 140 but the low pressure is pretty much pegged and bouncing. The compressor clutch is engaged, ambient temp 85* and center vents at 55*. Low pressre switch? Thought that should shut the compressor down. Expansion/orifice tube maybe?

New member to the forums fellas but I have been quietly reading for a few years. I'll start out with what I have. I have a 01 24v 6 speed. She has quadzilla adrenaline 4k, intake, intake horn, exhaust, necessary gauges, fass 165, and studs. Also has 190k miles A few months ago my pedal would just go dead and after contacting a few local guys and reading I decided it was TPS. Well now that I replaced it with a new one when i set the quadzilla to level 10 at around 2500 rpm she begins to shudder terribly until I either floor it or let off. It never this to me until I replaced the TPS. When i drop it to stock on the tune there is no shudder. …

  9. I plan to drop the pan on my transmission in the next few weeks for filter change and band adjustment. Are there any upgrades that I should install while in there? No $600 valve bodies! I have planned on adding the Sonnax valve to the valve body that allows flow to the converter while in Park. Stock truck.

Anybody made their own pop off tester? If so how do you like it? Digging around in my shed it looks like I'm real close with spare parts laying around...all except would have to buy a gauge. Any input good or bad for using a homemade tester?

I acquired a turbo from my buddy in a trade. The tag reads: P/N: 174430, MOD: S300G 071, S/N: F2205 1296. Looks to be a 57/65/14 Super B. It's in good shape, normal side play, no in/out play. After I get a built trans I planned on running an SXE 362 62/68/14 with 7x.012s. To save money would I be ok to run the 7x.012s with the 57/65/14 turbo? I eventually would get the 62/68 but just run the 57/65 in the meantime. And yes I do have a Quad with V2, just not installed yet.

The new 4k unit, does it also have the standard v2 version software in it so that I can choose not to use the 4k tunes and be a regular quadzilla? Is the 4k unit strictly a race unit? I want mpg but also when not towing to be able to create a good power tune. I still need to do studs but want to buy a quad and don't want to buy the standard one and then have everybody say "oh you bought the regular one bad choice" lol My revo paired with the TST3 is giving 17-21mpg but there is a tad amount of smoke that I think the quad could dial in a bit better.

  15. I finally got the 7 x 0.0085 @ 305 bar removed and the 7 x 0.010 @ 320 bar installed. What I noticed right off the bat is the idle is MUCH smoother. Without changing any of my tune on the Quadzilla I had it on level 0 for extended warm up. Then I flip back to my max power level of 7. Once it warmed up it was a bit smokey. Quickly changed up my timing and a few timing setting and cleared a bunch of that up. Enough power it to break the tires loose in 3rd or 4th gear. I've got to play with the tune a bit to clean stuff up for sure. +150 HP VCO 7 x 0.010 @ 320 bar are a excellent choice for Quadzilla Adrenaline.

I have a 99 quad cab 4x4 short box. New Michelin's going on next week and an alignment as well. The front end is tight and no abnormal wear in the usual places. I don't drive it much and try to stay on top of repairs and maintenance I have had it lined up in the past and that lower control arm adjustment bolt was never touched. The bolt was seized. Easy enough fix. I used a zip saw and cut the bolt out and then drove the center out. Replaced with factory parts. My question is...I thought there was a discussion on adjusting this to push the housing forward on the bottom for better handling. I looked but can't find that info again. …

Towing for the first time since plugging in boost foother. 7x09 injectors have been running toasty had to peddle off egts on most all grades while towing even light loads. With heavy loads 10k machin 5k trailer your have really watch it on flat ground. Pulling the few grades from mtn home to Jerome Cruise is on at 1800rpm pulling 30lbs of boost on grades that are 3 or so miles long hottest I saw was 1100 before I'd be peddling of the maintain 1200 and easily saw 1400. On the way back theres a steeper longer grade. I'll see what it does there I expect 1200ish and more boost. So far this boost fooler seems to be working wonder…

My truck has to get ready for a 1400 miler running with, heaven forbid....... IBMobile His coffee like burnt trans fluid, but wakes up old pliestocene fossils like me.
