  1. No problem... But I've been asked that a few times like I explain to everyone how do you tell if... Your so right... I shouldn't have to have permit I shouldn't have to pay for firewood... I shouldn't be cleaning up the USFS mess they caused... Time to get off the soap box...
  2. It means the site owner will not allow us to see the thread or picture till your a member... Very poor for getting points for Google or other search engines.
  3. What if I had a trade with someone for wood? What if I purchased wood from another person? What if I harvested from 2 different forests? There is no way to account for what is here on the property and what I've harvested or or purchased. Simple we lift them on the truck together as a team.
  4. Most likely forgot about the boost elbow...
  5. Quick message to pass along...
  6. Well if my buddy James would quit eye balling even huge tree out there and want them first... :lol:Not to mention I just got word from him he's got a 6 cord sale for us to fill most likely. He's got to firm up the deal but I'm willing to jump on it.
  7. I'm suppose to write down how much wood on the permit and the date and time... As for me I pull another load last night and I'm quiting for the time being. I'm phyiscally screwed up now. My lower back is sore, my left ankle giving me crap, etc... So As for my firewood hauling it completed for the moment. Time to relax let the wood dry in these 90-100*F temps. While the wood is drying it give me a chance to heal up a bit.
  8. But you just keep on going though... :thumb1:Tell you the truth Russ I rather sit down and listen to all you tales of your younger years...
  9. Oh do I remember the dayz of working the wildland fires... (Dreamin')
  10. My RV275 and my Edge Comp (5x5) would net me around 21-23 MPG easy... Now that I got the RV275's out and stockers back in I'm barely making 19 MPG with just the Edge Comp.
  11. Seems like the last time I seen that road it was flooded and water running everywhere... Not it got trees laying everywhere with power lines down...
  12. You got lucky... But that was a neat fix for it...
  13. Hmmm... I'm a long ways from the power company (35 miles guessin') Typical outage is about 8-24 hours... Longest I've seen is 9 days... (96-97 Flood)
  14. All I can say is take your time measure and measure again before you cut anything... :smart:I did body work for about 1 year with a guy locally and it was a fun job of demo'ing out a vehicle pulling all the damaged stuff off and order the new body panels and such... Always remember the vehicle your repairing is damaged so measuring on a straight rig is going to be difficult...
  15. Dang... I thought you about had it figured out there...
  16. I'm with MarbleCrusher... I do the same thing I walk around the truck with a oil can giving all the latches a shot of engine oil... Most of the time I won't even wipe up the drips (rust preventer). But I do it about once a month because of all the dust and dirt, water, ice, salt, etc...
  17. Holy Cow Guys... You guys haul around quite a bit...
  18. Basically all electrical should go with it... (PCM and ECM) and all the interior... There is many places in the wiring diagrams where diesel and gas is seperated because of differences...
  19. Not to hard to change out if you give me a bit of time I'll get my video on line for ya...
  20. Ahh... You got what I do... (Most likely). My old RV275 inectors which were a hand me downs from CajFlynn (thank you) they finally gave up this summer and were missing at idle but under load they did fine. But cold engine it went away too. So my suggestion to you is pull the inectors and have the pop tested and see if thats the problem.Since I've disassembled my injectors a few times now I know I've got one with a pintle that is sticky. This should show up on the pop test bench.
