  1. I would not go over .085-75hp vco or rv275 would be a good choice, which means 275hp total where 50,60,75hp injectors are over stock. So if your motor is 235hp add that on top. Stay with vco style. Honestly until you built your tranny or drive like a grandma I would not do anything over rv275, Plus they are brand new Bosch. Not sure if DAP ships overseas but they have good selection and they use Bosch bodies for most of their injectors
  2. I've read some reviews about that Clown, I can't believe people have balls to do that and no conscience or soul. Also I can't believe someone didn't drive down there and beat the crap out of him and took whatever he had to make up for the losses, I bet that would stop them from doing it again. When I was in my early 20s, I purchased a car on eBay and sent the guy down payment through the bank. Long story short I was given a BS story and no car no refund either. Can't remember how I had his address but he was dumb enough to give it to me at one point, me and the body of mine ended up driving from Iowa to Idaho and back with no sleep . The guy was home and the look on his face was priceless, I told him I didn't drive that far to end this story well and if I was him I'd go get the money. Needless to say what I gave him for the deposit I ended up spending on the trip but I felt much better afterwards and got to see some country side. True story
  3. They usually have a straight edge they can kinda tell with, from what I've seen
  4. I would think any part store should have it in help section but truly idk, never had to get on before.
  5. If you ask any machine shop they will say yes, I've done it on gassers before without decking and got away, but they were nothing special, although went through some beating, but small block Chevy Ford can be forgiven at times. And there were times I put a brand new set of heads on and leaked coolant on the ground before I started the engine, which sucked because I had to take them off and to the shop but was lucky I didn't start it and bent rods. Shop said it took .015 to be true that was edelbrok Victor Junior heads bolt on out of the box my then they checked guides and said they were to tight and had to hone them to losen up a bit and that few valve seals were damaged. So it's up to you to make that decision. If it was never surfaced before I would have them shave a little off, I usually tell them least amount possible to make it true again.
  6. Zombie apocalypse is close ha ha
  7. I hear what your saying, but it can be looked at several ways. If it's a slow speed impact I'd raver have my heavy duty bumper, hopefully no frame damage will be done. If it's a higher speeds impact, more than likely truck will be totaled anyway and I thing a heavier bumper will still bend just fine but will slow down engine going in cab. Idk jmo.
  8. I fixed that problem with a simple deck that has a USB port so I don't run out of music Factory carpet underlayment I ended up ripping out, all it did is collect moisture and started to have rust a long all the seams. Maybe glue on stuff is better
  9. I could never afford to buy one so I made my own. So far dear been pretty fortunate. Another option is to get a can of paint and just paint it black, spend money on something else. Put too much weight on front end, may have to do something with strings. Mine sagged a little so I put plow package strings under it. Didn't want spacers because they don't add extra carrying capacity, but I guess it's an option. Maybe 1 to 1.5" would work pretty good
  10. Cool, I thought about going with square ones but decided not to, look good.
  11. I wouldn't wait to long, you got signs of vp going if it was me I'd be getting one. What pump do you have now, where did it come from. On occasion I have some whiteish smoke but no codes, latly I've been getting some smoke on start up but it's more gray and smells like burning oil I just had my head redone last summer and had new guides put it, sure hope it's just a defective valve seal and not a wore out guide. I'll do oil analysis to see if I got some excessive brass in there, I hope not, I'll be pissed and trading it in for a 4th gen like some people here , deleted of course. But then again I'm mostly talk....
  12. level 3 is where it's at Then if you need more to pass or whatever you got it ready, if you don't then I use go pedal for mpg
  13. I've towed somewhat heavy in 6th (13-14k)before I read up on this temp thing now if I tow that heavy I'm only in 6th on hwy going 65-70 any Hill I drop to 5th and slow down a bit. Truck had no problems pulling in 6th but after reading some horror stories and not just about tranny, some had issues melting pistons I guess, I don't take chances. My boat at about 3k I still pull in 6th unless it's a steeper hill.
  14. I don't really get what level 2 is for I don't really get what level 2 is for, can't say I ever used it
  15. I know running 8 quarts if you take shifter tower off and look inside you still have to look to find oil, no wonder they have bearing failure with running 5 quarts
  16. What am I missing, how did you make it look like a srw.
  17. Not yet but think I might sooner than later. I could flip it over then it be closer to gears and on top but I wasn't sure how much it would be in oil when driving. Next time I drain it and chance filter I might flip it an see. My oil level is to bottom of top side pto bolt hole and that's 3qt overfilled, when driving some of it is flying around. Idk..
  18. See if any of these work for you, may have to try a bunch to get what you want. https://mopar1973man.com/forum/185-standard-quadzilla-adrenaline-tunes/
  19. Do you have a stock apps, if so throw it away and get timbo. Then like mentioned check alternator and do ground mods and check all other grounds. I know you said you disconnected alternator but damage to ecm or vp could be already done, may need to send out ecm for repair. If you do be very specific on what it does and codes associated with it, any codes?
  20. You can be first Not being a smart just maybe everyone thinks that that's how it's been done for ever and just take their k&n off and see an increase Makes you wonder why they still use k&n
  21. My nv5600 on hot days in 90s will get up to 175-180 empty on hwy going 70-75. I have one fast cooler on driver side and gravity filter (qk100) on passenger side. I want to run fast cooler with their filter on passenger side but it won't clear my 5" exhaust. I haven't towed in a while but my little 17' boat maybe 3k total and temps with that are not much higher right around 180
  22. Till you get injectors you can try going up on canbus, not sure what tune you got now, post it maybe. Instead of starting at 110 Mabel try 120, but I know there is kind of a limit where you can start. And also you can have wiretap come in sooner. But yes best next thing would be injectors. I could use a set myself just haven't had time or extra money right now. I'm using 75hp with 62/67/12 Also make sure you have 0 boost leaks it does matter quite a bit.
