Summer refresh thread
1 I did my front a few months ago and got them off of Rock Auto.Bought the rotors and pads for just over $100 along with new seal kits for the calipers. Forget what the total was. I am not brand specific myself and have used several brands over the years. nothing pricey. 2 I like to know how those worked also. Still running my Moog with maybe 120k on them. 3 I think any of them are a pain if they are the oe. They get frozen on there. My 02 was extremely difficult to get apart. lay some anti seize in there if you do them and that problem will go away. The late model second gens have easier to remove rotors. Remove the calipers and bracket and they just pull right of. The earlier ones you have to drive the wheel studs out of them. 4 Never done this before so no opinion. 4 If you are going in that deep do the AC condenser too. I am pretty sure I used the heater core with fixed piping IIRC. I bought both of them thru R A also and they are still working fine after 3 to 4 years. I used the LMC dash replacement and was quite happy with it. Fit great and looks great. Genos has them too and folks seem to like them also. I am not familiar with it myself. If you dash is cracked and heat is not right you will love yourself for doing it. 5 No experience with air bags. Have some cheap Monroes on mine. They do the job but the ride a little harsh. Had some Rancho 5000's, They worked good a rode pretty fair but did not last to long. 50k to 60k or so. Tires 265's since new. Many choices on brands. I am on my 3rd set of Cooper ATP's and they have served me well. Those are my opinions and the last time I checked every one has one.

100hp 7x.009 injectors EXHAUST POP?
yep. To the OP. Even if you just want a B grade you need to figure out this vibration and you have already added 100 hp injectors. If you still have the old ones pop them back in and see if it goes away. Sounds like swapping out the first ones for new ones helped.

ABS failure found!
I am jealous now that I had to decline Beta testing that thing for @Chris O.Just could not have given him much bang for the buck with my work load right now. Glad its working out.

100hp 7x.009 injectors EXHAUST POP?
i definitely like the power I have but am not interested in smoke. Mine has been pretty much smoke free until here recently with the addition of some new injectors. I need to some give love to my intake system and fix and find some boost leaks. Just not into the smoke.

100hp 7x.009 injectors EXHAUST POP?
I think you are going to need to try and solve you problems before adding any more performance upgrades. Is the ECM you had rebuilt still under warranty? If so i would contact them and try to get another. If you cant communicate with it on your scanner that worked before that is not a good sign. As far as rebuilt vs new, new ones have not been available for a quite a while. Alternators can and are bad out of the box. It needs to be checked. Gauges are your friends. Never assume your fuel pressure is good because your system is new. A FP gauge will alert you to any problem that might arise when it arises and not after you fry a VP. With the bigger injetors and EGT gauge becomes necessary, more fuel, more heat especially with adding a tuners. Now you have more fuel, and more HP so you need more air so boost gauge is in order to monitor that. Most tuners do boost fooling which allow you put more air in the motor. You describe a vibration while free revving the engine and it continues also under load, did this start with the new injectors or the new ECM? How is your harmonic balancer? It would vibrate under both conditions. If it was the drive line it would not vibrate while free revving the engine. Never hurts to get under there a check it out.

Correct glue for Dash Bezel Fix...
I spread silicone over the back of mine where it had broken. It held up pretty fair but it is broken in so many places now it just needs to be replaced. If i pulled it off right now it would just be a bag of pieces.

LOST POWER
My understanding is the OFV, ove flow valve, has a small by pass in it. If either bolt on the head or the tee is letting air in it will drain the fuels system. How long it takes depends on how much air is being allowed in. The fuel system hold no pressure once the engine is shut. I had hard starts for a while and replacing the tee grommets and the washers on the head bolt solved my issue.

Nv5600 becareful who you let build

Instrument gauges clear plastic cover??
That depends on who is doing the touching.

Choice of companies
Are you looking for one for a Ford with a Cummins or a Dodge?

LOST POWER
Just a reminder @CLAUS1, you are ramming alot of fuel thru a stock turbo. Especially an HY. HX is not much better from what I understand. The vp does not require any return pressure. Maybe the line is clogged. Not sure as to why. It should pretty much free flow.

Injectors stuck....cannot remove?
Your are dealing with a washer that is 15 years old and on the cylinder head. If turns out not to be the leak it will be on day soon. I have swapped all of mine thru the years and one that leaks looks just like a plain washer. Get you a new one and you will see the difference. They rubber just gets hard.

The crf450ish random question thread.
I appreciate the offer but mine are doing fine for now. If they ever start giving me trouble I figure I will swap them out for push locks.

The crf450ish random question thread.
this is why I bought the ADII 165. I knew it was way overkill for the truck but i did not know what I would do with it power wise. It was only slightly more than a 150 and it came with a kit to get rid of the in tank pump. It was complete and I bought nothing extra except for a big line kit since I attached to the OE fuel canister and not straight t the VP. The fuel pick up is only 3/8" and not 1/2" and I do see about a 3 to 3.5 psi drop at WOT. The original pump went out about 2 years ago but AD replaced it no questions asked. The original last about 5 years. Another thing I liked is that it has an adjustable pressure regulator and not just a spring and ball. I bought the AD right before they started having all of their problems and maybe thats why the pump did not last. I would consider another one but would entertain the idea of a Fass or one the mechanical pumps. For now I am happy with the AD and not sorry that I bought it. I did install using the quick disconnects and dont seem to have any problems with them. I do have a misfire under hard throttle sometimes and other times no miss at all. They may the be cause of that not sure. Cant seem to find the time to work on it being on the road all the time.

Real Jake brake
The banks is the only one I have ever had and as mentioned above I do not know how it compares to others. I have always been happy with it until stopped working. I am looking for a replacement actuator for now. Seems everything else is working properly. I did take a look at the pac brake. That sucker is near $1400. That is definitely not in the budget for now.

Isspro trans temp gauge
Mine did the same thing a few weeks back. I do have an amplifier and figured I had a loose wire or such. But it fixed itself and is working fine again. Not sure what happened.

Real Jake brake
I hate this whole thread. My exhaust brake quit working the day it started. It is a Banks Brake and I hope dealing with them for a fix is as quick as dealing with them on a sale. Who freaking knows.

Front Axle CAD Vacuum Actuator to Manual Posi Lock
I was looking at the link but I am on my 7th blue moon right now and the reading was to long. AAAAH HAAAA HA!

Front Axle CAD Vacuum Actuator to Manual Posi Lock
I got you. I am just trying to be simple to get 2 wheel low. Still want to ride in your truck one day. Hopefully I want be 85 and you have a 32nd gen with 16 wheel drive or whatever engineers are driving at the time.

Front Axle CAD Vacuum Actuator to Manual Posi Lock
So it I were to go out to my truck right now and put a clamp on my CAD actuator line and put my truck into 4wd it would not give me 2 wheel low?

Quadzilla Adrenaline V2 Testing
Thank God they dont make a 2000 mile long tow strap!!!!!!!!!!!

Front Axle CAD Vacuum Actuator to Manual Posi Lock
Somewhere in the past here I have seen a thread with a simple bypass of the vacuum the engages the 4wd and gives you 2 wheel low. Dont remember where I have seen it here but it exists maybe in the archives. Cant be that hard to do.

trreed's upgrade thread
They both offer fairly equal pricing and warranties on their products. Neither build their own. I have dealt with both on other things and they have both treated me fairly.
