  1. You'll love it there. It's just so beautiful. My wife and I were there the last week of August and we liked it so much that we went back the first week of May. Are you taking the train out of Calgary? The main street of Banff in August
  2. First off have fun in Canada. Where will you be going? I know the RV (motor home) will be subject to the IVA test and a 10% import tax along with the required modifications. If you have trouble parking the 3500 the motorhome will be a nightmare. Every where you want to go you have to find a place to park it unless you can have another means to get around while camped. You should look into a short 'ultralight' 5th wheel about 7.5 meters long and 2.43meters wide with some of the desired features.
  3. Get a time delay relay. https://www.delcity.net/store/Time-Delay-Relays/p_804415.h_804416.r_IF3003?mkwid=8TgfXoca&crid=11472933143&msclkid=e38efb4ee99616ce673ca0130b539cf2&utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Shopping - PLA's(BSC)&utm_term=1100315444392&utm_content=Ad group %231
  4. Could be the pinon depth setting which would be the distance from the pinon face to the ring gear centerline.
  5. Are you buying an American RV? The LED lights in most of the RVs here are on the 12 volt DC circuit so as not to run down the battery power when dry camping. I bought my 12V LEDs from Amazon. I have only one 120V blub in the RV and I think I screwed an LED blub into it.
  6. That's good to hear. Don't push it. Why did the Chicken Man cross the street? To get a second doctors opinion. GETTING OLD SUCKS. I need a hip replacement...I'm waiting for them to go on sale at Harbor Freight.
  7. You need to replace the batteries together. The old weaker battery will drag the new one down.
  8. Yes.. When throttle input goes to zero (idle) the PCM unlocks the torque converter and the trans 'freewheels'. A trans controller or a mystery switch would keep the converter locked and give a little engine braking.
  9. Take a photo copy of any life time warranty receipt and put it in the glove box of the vehicle and the original in a at home file. I've done this over the years and no more "Where the heck did I put that receipt".
  10. Where's @MoparMom? Is she out of there and down south having treatment?
  11. This is a cooling system and radiator cap tester that I use. It's heavy duty and will last for years and years. Ebay has them for a few $ less. https://www.jbtoolsales.com/Stant-12270-New-Cooling-System-Cap-Tester/ Also check the heater core inside the cab.
  12. Boling point of diesel is 309.749°F or 154.305°C. This boiling point will change with temperature and altitude (air pressure).
  13. 60/40 tin-lead alloy 370°F 63/37 tin-lead alloy 361°F
  14. See if this helps https://m anuals.co/workshop/ford/explorer/ford-explorer-1996-misc-document-system-wiring-diagram/5525494/1
  15. I thought it was because the Earth sucked.
  16. @rogerash0 did you order one and they said they no longer sell them and not charge you or give your money back? I went to their ebay site and they have them for sale.
  17. Looks like Forest River treated you right.
  18. Mine does the same thing. I adjusted my thinking. It was easier than fooling with the sender unit.
  19. If your talking about the overflow valve attaching the fuel return line to the VP44 the torque is 24 ft. lbs page 14-85 FSM.
  20. @leety this is the aluminum plate that @JAG1 added to the side of his camper.
  21. What is the gauge going to be used on? If it's on a gas fuel injection system a gauge with 30 PSI max will top out as soon as you start the fuel pump.
  22. It looks like people will start getting there on October 4, and staying till the 12. We're thinking about going up to @JAG1house and camp in his driveway for a few days before going by way of back roads to Mono Village. This is our group from last May with JAG1's camper in the background
