Today I had new front cab mounts installed on my truck. 2001 2500 auto. There is a lever I am assuming that does something with the transmission on the driver side front cab mount. And now we are having trouble with the truck going in and out of neutral while driving. Please help

I notice reading through the forum that the Adrenaline seems to be top dog again, I bought one when they first came out for my now gone 99 2500, had a few problems like the fuel sensor just blasted out when I was driving and then they got recalled, then I had other programming problems and then the word was they where going out of business. I wasted the Auto in the truck so it did pull well and had good top end. So then I bought a Smarty (for timing) and added a TST 3 for my fueling on my current truck and it works well but it is 2 different units and I have not really paid attention for a few years and like I said I see the Adrenaline is real popular again just curios i…

I spent quite a bit of time searching for the correct belt for a Mechman alternator install. What belt are you running on your small pulley high performance alternator? THANKS!

So I have had a problem this winter with a freezing fuel filter. I put it in when I installed after market lift pump. The filter is a small plastic type with a metal mesh screen ( required by the lift pump manufacturer to have a valid warranty). Its located next to the starter between it and the frame rail. Never had problems before this winter. To solve the problem I have had to double the amount of anti gel as I have normally used and add # 1 diesel to keep it from freezing and stalling . Is there a different solution to this issue other than installing a heated fuel filter on the frame rail ? Thanks in advance JOHN

I have a 00 dodge ram 2500 cummins with millions of problems. One of the issues I'm trying to address is the cold start. It looks like to me its blowing out a thick blue smoke. And when I drive down the road it dumps out for probably a good 2 mins. Then clears up and go backs to the black smoke. What could that be? I did pull a p0382 code.

  6. Hey guys. First time poster. Long time reader. I've got an interesting problem that has just popped up. My wait to start light is no longer coming on and at the same time, my high idle fooler no longer can be controlled, it just keeps the truck in 3 cylinder high idle when it sits and idles for any period of time. I can still see the grid heater cycling, dropping my volts and dimming my headlights. Am I correct in guessing this has something to do with my IAT sensor? I've dealt with all kinds of stuff on this truck, but nothing like this as of yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  7. Just got my new Quadzilla installed today, should have done it some time ago. Just one thing I did not see mentioned in the instructions for the IQuad or anywhere else. On the IPhone you should change the wifi settings for the IQuad. It should be set to manual instead of automatic in the Configure IP setting Set the IP Address to (in my case) 1.2.3.14 the Subnet Mask to 255.255.255.0 and leave the router blank This will allow the Iphone to connect to the Quadzilla and maintain LTE connection for interrnet. 98.5 24v auto trans Back in Sept I was playing around and got on the truck pretty hard, oit of no where it fell on its face and check engine light came on. Turn the truck off an back on it high reved on start & high idle. Got codes for grid heater(always have it since I bought the truck), apps sensor & no bus code. No luck with the apps reset and after digging around i realized there was only 1 nut(which had backed off some) holding the vp on and it was some what loose. I replaced the apps With a cheap Amazon sensor to get me by and got new nuts for the pump. I did check the main pump nut an it was right an toqued to spec. After replacing the apps, I bled the…

I developed this miss over the winter and blowby pulsating out of the oil cap. There's also blowby floating by the firewall but that could be coming from the breather. I don't think i have a vacumm leak because my defrost works. Can bad injectors cause blowby? Here's a video, sorry for the wind noise. truckmiss.mp4 Sorry I dont know why my sigs not showing up. 154000 mile 6 speed, with edge comp and 5 inch exhaust. Mostly stock truck.

Is there an easy way to determine whether my 24v is included in the early model 24v engines where the dowel pin is an issue as referenced in the TDR article below: http://www.genosgarage.com/GenosGarageTechArticles/TDR57_KillerDowelPin.pdf

So a couple of nights ago I built a manifold for the fps on the quadzilla (I have access to hydraulic fluid fittings in all sizes) and was able to install my fps since I bought the programmer. I noticed the first night the pressure jumped around alot, and would drop to 6 psi on the gauge, then jump back up. I figured it was the water hammer effect, and I installed the needle valve I had bought previously but forgot about until then. She sits steady at 12-13psi idle, but continues to jump up and down while driving. I haven't romped on it (too scary to do with no 4x4 and icy roads) but it made me curious if the sensor was junk? Or? I also changed out both filters on m…

Hi All looking to replace a Gen 2 map sensor with a heavy duty one. I have located severall sensors but I don't know the correct thread pitch or style. I have several to choose from and the only O.E.M. one I have is in the running truck. So hopefully someone knows or can pick it out of a line up. TIA Michael MAP Pressure ports.pdf

  18. so i got something in my drivetrain kinda hooking up making a poping sound in 2high, It only dose it in reverse with the wheel cranked to the right.(in 2hi) i don’t feel it or hear it with the wheel cranked to the left. I also can’t make it pop going fed in either direction (in 2hi) In 4high I can make it pop going forward with the wheel either way, like barely half to 3/4 turn not even cranked. if i kept wheel straight in sounds fine but turning the wheel either way it was binding up hard. I was on dry pavement so i know it 4high this is somewhat normal. I am more concerned about the 2hi noise. I cant find any play in any axel joint or u joint…

Just browsing YouTube and came across some differential cover development videos from Banks. With the amount of damaged differentials I've rebuilt and replaced over the years that had fancy heatsink differential covers. I've long suspected that the aftermarket covers effected the oil flow within the housing which causes lubrication issues for the pinion bearings and wheel ends. Moral of the story for me is the after market aluminum heatsink differential covers are R.I.C.E. (Race Inspired Cosmetic Enhancements) and do nothing positive for performance so those who have them are no different than the Honda Civic boy that has the park bench spoiler on the trunk th…

As the title states, she pops and stutters when I free rev her. Has done this since day one of when I bought the truck. It doesn't do it under heavy throttle, or when I'm cruising steady, just when it's idling and I rev it. I figured it was the junk edge tuner, and a new tuner would help. But it still does it, even when warm. It does puff gray smoke when it stutters, but clears up after a few revs. It reminds me of having a car with a carburetor that has a stuck float, you have to rev it because it "loads up". What could it be? MAP Sensor? My cel is on but it's from my apps sensor, and I have a new one ordered. Even before when there were no codes it still stutt…
