    Welcome to site...
  2. War goes on... Wow... You should have Sheilarun around with that expanding foam and fill all the holes the best she can. It will improve the trailers ability to hold heat in the winter. Think about if a mice is entering and exiting then you got a cold draft. Is the trailer closed belly or can you see all the tanks?
  3. Ok as for the P1698 code... Check the connectors there above the valve cover it contains the CCD network from the ECM to PCM if the connector is corroded or loose it will cause this problem. You might use a ohm meter on the 2 twisted wires. (CCD network) 1996 Dodge (CCD wiring) not the same color but appear just like this with the twist. P1689 is either a bad fuel pump relay in the PDC or ECM/VP44 is failing. P0602 if some left a programmer flash it will trp this code (smarty, superchips, etc). If there is no programmer code then this might be pointing towards a failed ECM. I got off the phone last night with another gent that is also seeing a lot of ECM failing I guess one shop if blaming the extreme summer heat on the ECM fails but...
  4. Wastegate is jammed or rusted closed. As for the error code yes its the same.
  5. Ummm... Dumb question why is the bike hanging?
  6. I've got the flash code list let me find it and I'll get back to ya...
  7. Once I get caught up I'll have to take a peek at it... Thank you...
  8. Well the only way I found was to pressurize the fuel tank and check all the fittings to see if they are wet.
  9. You'd need a 3 port valve... So when the valve is not energized then the open port when be a vent.
  10. 1. Sorry... 2. The camera is attached to the dash with a small squar of velcro. Its the viewfinder rattling against the dash. Next time I'll pull my sock off and lay under it.
  11. Here is simple idea call your local part house and have one of the parts guys count it for ya...
  12. Ekkkk... I don't know... All I can say is that the stock modules are like gold if you do find one you going to pay for it. I know you don't want a new intank pump either... You might consider talking to Eric at VulcanPerformance.com and ask him if there is a module to be had or a way to modify around the issue...
  13. Return line shouldn't cause problems... It would be a suction lines from the tank to the pump more than likely... Those line rarely ever leak outward but seen to suck air in and drain the prime easy. Then while running they suck more air reducing the fuel pressure.
  14. We all waiting on updates...
  15. Is it 4WD? Does have U joints or CV joints?
  16. All I can say is hook up another voltmeter and watch. As for all the communication its done over the CCD Network. So 1 bad wire would be completely system failure (NO BUS and no gauges). http://mopar.mopar1973man.com/cummins/general/ccd/ccd.htm
  17. Hmmm... Go out and but plenty of beer... Invite your friend over to drink beer. Discuss the fact of dropping your fuel tank. Then tell your friend to do the work while you hold the camera... Wasn't hard at all... I drank beer and held the camera... Seriously... Yes the guys are right get the tank as empty as possible. Then disconnect the fuel line and temp a hose to a 5 gallon fuel can or bucket. Then bump the starter and let the lift pump pump the rest out. Now the tank is empty... Filler neck hose, vent hose, sender wiring, etc... Diconnect this stuff... As for the fuel lines leave alone for now. But unscrew the collar nut and be sure its free. This will allow the sender to come out of the tank. Now drop the tank down by pulling the 2 bands and lowering it slowly. Allow the sender to come out of the tank. Now the sender will be easy to disconnect form the fuel line and you can get your finger in there.
  18. Well I suggested to her to consider the Raptor series pump then also for a just a bit more money there is the FASS 95 which is close to the Raptor in design. Thank you both for the comment they keep me going...
  19. Tell them you want to barrow the computer a sec and then take them here to this thread and show them the pic of the Air Brake line... I've done that more than once to my NAPA guys...
  20. Correct this is the driver side looking up under the dash and the driver side of the HVAC case...
  21. PCM is most likely feeding the intrument cluster bad data... Being that the PCM has a problem with the regulator I'm pretty sure the PCM is the cause.
  22. I don't see anyone around do you?
