Mine is that way especially if it’s cold. If you raise rpm it will get fluid flowing.

When I had coolant leak the fan was blowing coolant everywhere and until I pressure tested I was really worried it was head gasket.

I thought I had head gasket leaking but turned out to be water pump. Rent a cooling system pressure reset and pressure up cooling system and should be easy to find.

There is a fuse in the pdc under the hood that may be the culprit

Didn’t want to take axle shafts apart as u-joints are still in great shape but I guess sometimes......

Not really alongside road. Actually took axle shafts out at home and then drove to town and one of unit bearings came apart. Should I have taken axle joint out and put outer shafts back in to hold bearings together? Was hoping to rebuild diff later on but still be able to drive truck if needed.

I had pinion bearing in front diff go out and need to get truck home. Hopefully one of you smart guys can tell me if I can just pull axle shafts out and drive truck that way. Any suggestions appreciated.

I used the boost bolt and torqued it as recommended in instructions(it came with my gauges) and when it broke I drilled and tapped elbow. Had it off to replace injectors. Boost bolt broke when I was removing it.

Might take to frame shop and they could tell you where problem is and if axle may be able to straighten it.

Is your Wait to Start light working correctly? It should always come on immediately when you turn key on.

Does it help if the engine is well lubricated?
