  1. Hua? That wasn't very smart of the dealer to only test 1 cylinder... Should of tested all 6 so you see the wear state of each cylinder regardless of which cylinder tossed a code... As for the miss that sound like what I got... I got a random miss on my truck I do know what the cause is (in my case) and its a sticky pintle needle. Now the WVO might be causing the pintle needle to hang up in the nozzle.
  2. True your right but the injector could have issues on why its not firing properly.
  3. Good Ol' Cummins Power Chirp... Totally normal the engine stops rather sudden and the belt slips a bit. Mine has done it from day one...
  4. Something is still wrong with the injectors you might have them re-pop tested and see whats up. Also you might consider doing a compression test to see how you rings/bore condition. CR engine are known for the injector problems and also wiping out the rings when thing fail. http://mopar.mopar1973man.com/cummins/general/compression/compression-test.htm Because to make a diesel engine run you need 2 things... 1. Compression to heat the air to ignite the fuel. 2. Fuel to be sprayed int othe cylinder at the proper time.
  5. Here is my AirDog 150 setup... http://articles.mopar1973man.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=30:airdog-150-install&catid=25&Itemid=107
  6. Those were a gift from a friend... http://www.trucknutz.com/
  7. I wonder if you have one just trapped in the rig and looking for a way out...
  8. www.vulcanperformance.com He's got all the fittings for big line kits as well as stock lines... Talk to Eric!
  9. I been using 80w-90 for years no problem... Here is a video a shot a while back and found on the harddrive...
  10. Like my saw... I'm the only one that operates it. So far its over 15 years od and never needed a spark plug yet, air filter is in great shape yet. (Pre-filter helps!) As for bar oil you'll be shocked I use my old engine oil for bar lube... As for fuel mix I always buy the sthl 2 cycle oil and mix per can...Less hassle on the mountain trying to figure out how much oil to fuel ratios... Other than that its a screaming beaver...
  11. It's All good... For me dealer is 320 mile (6 hour of driving, $50 bucks of fuel) round trip...
  12. Or Rockauto.com for $24...
  13. That was my first thought too is spool valve and the fluid being wore out possibly got debris caught up somewhere in the system.
  14. Yeah its time to play with the new toy...
  15. Actually that is a good deal...
  16. I like the front mounted stinger... Be really good for your trailer for stuffing in tight places...
  17. What did the clutch cost ya?
  18. Check the AC compressor relay to see if its wore out. The compressor wiring is fairly simple. +12V -> Fuse -> Relay -> AC Clutch Relay signal is from the PCM which has the hi limit switch and the low limit switch. So check the relay socket for signal from the PCM. (85 & 86) should have power and a ground present when the A/C is on.
  19. How did I know someone mind would fall in the gutter... http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=k2jd7XsYrKI
  20. In my case the fluid never leaked outwards... Always full but was bleeding around the seals in the master cylinder.
  21. All I can say is more inspection required... Every time I do a oil change I rotate tires at the same time... While the tires are off I peek at the rotors and pads... Might as well since you can see them...
  22. Flip the fan around so you can see the hub label and see what kind of fan it is. (12V or what). If its a 12V fan measure the size of the fan (in mm) and then head out to a computer shop and pick up a new fan. Maybe $8 bucks. Then just install it... As for future... When the fan starts to howl you can pull the fan hub label and under it is a rubber plug (typically) just remove the plug and add a few drops of motor oil of the bearing replce the plug and install again... You should be able to get 5-7 years out of a fan that way. (Darn computer tech side of me... 21 Year Experienced Electronics/Computer Tech)
  23. Or just replace the master/slave units... http://mopar.mopar1973man.com/cummins/2ndgen24v/clutch-hyd/clutch-hyd.htm
