NV4500 died, now what to do??
My guess is that They would be the same. They are both big competitors in the pulling scene and both carry tough parts to handle the abuse of it.

Stick with what you have and fix it. You will have more problems with the 5600 than you will with the 4500. How you do it is your call but stick with the 4500.

valve/rockerarm tick or chatter
YES! Usually they will come with the ones needed for close to stock engines. This becomes an issue with different pistons and with machined/decked blocks and heads when distance from pistons change and head gasket thickness differs ect. If the tip is too far from the piston you are spraying fuel on the cylinder walls or outside of the piston bowl on top of the outer circumference of the piston "This is normal for 2nd gens with after market injectors as the design of the bowl is really small" , too close to the piston you are spraying fuel in a concentrated spot on the piston which won't atomize correctly which can melt a hole in it. This can affect timing mileage and performace greatly.

U think 08 fuel prices were bad listen to this!
More updated info from a few days ago.To me posting this a few days later knowing fuel prices have exploded in the last few days since only reinforces this info. Like most subjects Alex Jones breaks open Lindsay has since been on many other shows this last week stating and spreading this info.

injection pump removal
I would replace all rubber hoses between the tank and pump along with all seals and o-rings ect. If the pump is leaking everything else will not be in any better shape.

HID Kits
You have way to much trust in the government holding on to YOUR money. Its yours. I never give them any more than needed and would rather pay in a bit that give up more of MY money for them to waste. The days are coming where you may not get it back just like the PONZI schemed Social security system the gov pilfered dry for everything but the intended purpose.:banghead: Sorry to be off subject here. Don't hate me for it.

Window power
Make sure the wires between the door and body are not broke where they bend when door opens/closes. I see more often this as a problem than window motors in any type of vehicle. Imagine bending a wire in your hand really fast it will eventually break. Same goes for the wires that bend when opening and closing the door. Hate to see you buy parts you don't need before eliminating the easy things first. Also the factory window switches in the 2nd gens are junky and will cause all sorts of issues. I have changed the one in my 02 several times in 8 years.

injection pump removal
If fuel is leaking out that bad air could be getting in causing your issue. After reading your last post it sounds like air in fuel to me.

valve/rockerarm tick or chatter
Different injector tips and spray angles are why different HP and different makes and brands of injectors all have very different pop pressures. Most companies have vested much time and development into what pop pressure works best with the changes made to the tips for smoke control power mileage ect ect ect. What the stock injectors were are not the same as what any aftermarket injector is set to. Then you get into different thickness injector seal washers to make it even more precise. Little things make a huge difference.

what year?
I added to my previuos post some detailes.

what year?
Thats why the industry is trying to standardize from automotive to over the road trucks to heavy construction/ag equipment. Too many trems for similar things. Heavy equipment, trucks, ag calls anything integrated into the accellerator pedal as a TPS. never been anything known as an apps in anything but automotive that I'm aware of. Not sayin there isn't I just have not seen it. Main reason is that the throttle is not always an accelerator pedal. There are numerous ways of controling the throttle on many different types of equipment. A Hand throttle in handicap package vehicles are not hooked to a pedal thus throwing a clincer into the mix also, thats why TPS is a better term.

What oil filter do you use?
I run Amsoil exclusively on my 02 as I have a dual remote bypass/fullflow filter head on it but after the next change am going to get rid of the dual filter head and go with a single remote bypass and go with a standard full flow. I have problems with it building oil pressure fast enough in temps under 0*f when it has to push all the cold stiff oil through 8 feet of 1/2 inch hose. I run Amsoil 10w30 diesel oil to prevent this in the winter time and I don't care to run oil that thin in a diesel that gets worked hard. My 05 I run amsoil bypass and get whatever is available based on where I am at the moment, Always either fleetgaurd or Hastings. Wifes VW Jetta TDI gets mostly Hastings filters for everything.

Low $$$ stacks
Seems 600 hp and 1100-1200 tq is the starting breaking point for parts depending on use and common sense. I don't have any issues with the 02 in my sig.

Fuel Economy with the ToyHauler.
Just a couple inches longer and you could change both front tires by having a small child stand on the receiver hitch or by sliding the beer cooler from the front of the box to the back of the box to get that leverage weight.

Low $$$ stacks
Can't post pics of it strapped to a dyno with no numbers to show whats shes got for HP/TQ.

Runinng Real Rough
sounds like an injector issue:2cents: Any fluid transfer or usage.....................Besides fuel?

On my trip to the eastern side of the state and back it ranged from 3.73-3.89 here in ND

MPG on 3rd Gen towing more than 7500 lbs
Well I did 10MPG 260.8 miles and 26.2 gallons going out to fargo at 0*f and 30 mph crosswind running between 65-70 then driving around fargo one full day on that tank as well. Haven't filled up to see what return trip yielded but it is better for sure at light breeze and 15*f with cruise set at 70. going to guess return to be about 12 mpg.

MPG on 3rd Gen towing more than 7500 lbs
Well its not looking to be a good MPG trip as I have a 30 mph crosswind and single digit temps hovering around 0* Getting ready to hit the road in a bit.:banghead:

quad adrenaline
The adrenaline would do everything the ez will plus a whole lot more. They will both hook into the map sensor and both would hook to the com connector under the hood. So I would say no they are not stackable.

12 valve cummins in a rogator
Make sure the fuel lines are good. I see on ag equipment all the time that it gets dry and cracked and suck air. Some times they smoke also. Just fixed a fuel line on a New Holland Bi directional tractor a few weeks ago that had a bad fuel line feeding the cummins in it also, that one smoked pretty bad and wouldn't even go to high idle it was sucking so much air.

How Lucky Can You Get
Bismarck has it all 30 miles from my house.

missing cover?
To get to the flexplate bolts you need to remove a little cover on the passengerside of the flywheel housing from the front right close to the engine barring tool hole. to go straigh into the bolts. You can't get the bolts throught the bottom.

How Lucky Can You Get
I usually get all the phone #'s lined up and park by them and call for prices on what I am looking for then just drive up to the one with the best pricing on what I happen to need at the time. Same goes for any parts house. I always make about 4-5 calls to the locals before deciding on where to go.
