  2. timing is key. If I remember right, I clicked the flash program to open, then plugged in so that i could click the find module button before the 2nd beep. Really depends on the computer though, some are easier than others.
  3. you have 3.55's if you are at 1800 rpm at 65 mph. Biggest thing with the EZ canned tunes is you need to keep engine load sub %25. Once you top that timing falls off from ~18-19* down to 12* and your MPG follows. A set of 7 x .010's will help you do 65 mph while keeping engine load down.
  4. You cannot stack them. With the size injectors you will have you need some sort of custom tuning. The S03, ez, xzt, comp, ts setups are all geared to stockish sized injectors, you will be overfueling down low with any canned tune. If you want to control smoke and egt's then you are left with MM3 tuning, or the Quadzilla adr with V2 ( without wiretapping) . The Quadzilla is VASTLY cheaper and you can tune yourself. I did some datalogging with the S03 on my old truck( 7x .012's and a he351vgt at high elevation) , smoke control was nearly impossible unloaded, and %100 impossible while towing. here's my old setup with the quadzilla towing.
  5. The quad will not touch timing until engine temp is to 120*. High timing with a cold engine is %100 normal. Very cold mornings you will see 20+ * of timing at idle.
  6. sub 120* coolant no timing adjustment is done. Sub warmup temp no timing adjustmenet is done. You are seeing OEM timing.
  7. it is a trial and error thing to get it perfect. Your tire might be 31.2512" high vs the calc of 31.25" that will result in a noticeable difference in what you need to input into the quad. .
  8. 3" flows enough air to outflow what the hx can do. It's not cause of the intake, just that there isn't enough restriction require an upgrade. Most do just because they like noise.

  12. That's backdown. Turn boost limit off do a run, what boost does the mechanical gauge read? Maps sensors can be liars.
  13. hy35 is efficent to ~32 psi hx35 is good to ~35psi

  15. Datalog from that Datalogging a lug down test while towing datalog from that video No issues. Truck ran great, towed great, didn't smoke, and got great MPG. However you need to regear before doing anything.

  17. "125" hp injectors are not nearly enough for a 400 series turbo on a vp44 truck. there is NEVER a reason to run a s400 single on a vp44 street driven truck. Please keep in mind that I ran "225 hp" injectors on a 60 mm inducer turbo and it ran GREAT, with videos and datalogs to prove it. you have a bigger turbo and smaller injectors, your injectors are not too big, they are really too small to maximize the airflow of the turbo. You are slinging 37" tires with 3.55 gears, thats your EGT issue.
  18. The tune builder is made using excel macro's AKA VB code that Excel can run. That does not translate to openoffice. The tune builder is much more than just a spreadsheet.

  24. try 108 from 0-5 then 107 from 0-5 then 106 from 0-5 until your issue goes away. those settings should be fine
  25. no fix on stock injectors other than start and hold at 100% until ~5 psi or so. or just make hte tune less aggressive in that 0-5psi area, Also make sure you are not using wiretap at cruise. that will make hte issue worse
