  1. IIRC the 98 & 99 have a different taper on the tie rod ends so won’t work on 00-02.
  2. Mine was a 1941 Chevy pickup. Paid $25. Owner didn’t know if it would run, it did. I was 13 years old. Drove it around the farm for a couple years then sold to my brother. At the same time I bought a 51 pickup for $50. Owner said it would run and it did but coolant ran out the side of the block. My son has it now.
  3. You can tin them yourself with solder if you want them tinned
  4. Try a little powdered graphite
  5. Dynamic sells transmissions and parts as well.
  6. Not sure. Want them to repair it if needed. If it doesn’t need repair hopefully they won’t charge me for repair.
  7. Sending PCM in to ACS and thought it would be same cost as ECM. Not so. $450!!
  8. A friend used to call my brother “Sparky” for that very reason.
  9. Thanks Mike. I will get it sent off tomorrow.
  10. @Mopar1973Man, @Haggar, @IBMobile, @Me78569 I got my ecm back from ACS for the second time but am afraid to plug it in. Went through P1698 diagnostics as shown on the site here and all checked out till I get to #6. It says if resistance between terminal 31 and ground is less than 10 ohms, replace PCM. Did a similar test on ECM connector, terminal 30 testing P1694 and it says to replace ECM, which is fresh rebuild so should be ok there. Do you fellas have any other suggestions before I send my PCM in for testing/repair? Really appreciate any help you can give me. Thank you
  11. He has an 04 model. Is that the same?
  12. Look at what they used on dash bezel
  13. 12 valve has camshaft-driven lift pump on side of block
  14. Almost looks like it’s been on fire
  15. @Gregturley I usually remove ball mount when not towing as it makes a really good knee knocker
  16. @Marcus2000monsterI believe you said it idles rough in warmup mode. If you have factory high idle enabled and try to use quad high idle it is my understanding they are unfriendly
  17. @Marcus2000monsterwhile I have never had a Quadzilla and don’t know much about it there are folks here willing to help you. It has been my observation that you like to jump in to help others who have questions that come to this site. It seems that you are younger than many others here and I believe it would be a good thing for you to invest the time to learn how to tune and in the not-too-distant future you could be coaching others who have tuning questions. Just my $.02.
  18. It’s all about liability
  19. Is it just me or is anyone else blinded by the new F-250/F350 factory headlights?
  20. Superbrite leds has a led flasher on their site. Sorry the link may be too hitech for me.
  21. At demolition derby many years ago just after high school we used Copenhagen in radiator. Worked till distributor cap broke. Don’t know about long term.
  22. I believe it is recommended that you just barely crack that needle valve open.
  23. They may ask if you’re using a tuner. They asked me
  24. Rock solid ram is what aftermarket bushing is called I believe.
  25. Vulcan will probably have needle valve also.
