It's awesome to see trucks still driven daily getting up in miles! I just rolled 300k last week going to Colorado and I wouldn't think twice about jumping in and going wherever I needed to empty(rarely) or towing. I'm sure you feel the same about your truck...well a lot of us here I'm sure

Ok came up with the part# MJTV-5. Manufacturer is Clippard.

I'm currently tracking down what switch we installed on my uncles 99' for his CAD. It is a 2-way/3-port toggle switch. I'll post it when he remembers what the part number is.

I would also like to know. my truck flashed that on the overhead a couple of times going down the highway.

I wired a switch in on my uncles 99' because the ECM is slowly dyeing. He cycles the grids with the switch before startup and its much happier. It's been this way for almost 2 years now.

My vote goes to getting a Quadzilla. Let's here what mods are already done to the truck. I'm sure once everyone sees what's already done to the truck different ideas will flow. Good looking truck

I tried a Bluetooth cassette like you described and it petered out within a few months and you have to recharge the battery pretty often. I just grabbed a cassette adapter with the jack on a cord that plugs into my phone and it's a lot easier and no battery to recharge every few hours!

After being in the Aftermarket industry for over 12 years I've heard that statement from customers thousands of times!!! I totally call BS when people say a tuner or "chip"(old school) messed something up. They may magnify a pre-existing (ie: failing injectors or poor fuel pressure) condition but I have yet to see something fail that wasn't inevitable or misused. On that note I can wait to get my Quadzilla in my hands and on my truck

I have used a heat gun to restore motorcycle plastics that were sun damaged. You can see the color almost flash from cloudy to clear. Good idea to try it on headlights.

Sounds good. Traveling every other week my schedule is a little hard to hit the first Saturday of the month all the time but I always make it if I'm up there. Looking forward to it!

Golden Super Cruise! I went out the first Saturday in April (a month early) and there was quite the turnout. Definitely like to meet up there and check it out!

My truck has what you're looking for minus heated seats if it may help. Mine has the security. Will it being a 2000 vs. 2001 make a difference?

What about 1/2 power with the Smarty?

I have replaced 2 dashes with LMC's and they are nice pieces. Only bad thing is they aren't going to fix your headlight switch mount or some of your dash bezel holes as those are part of the main plastic frame. I was able to use some fiberglass resin and thin fiberglass material to repair headlight switch mount mounting holes. Hope this helps
