Horn not working on 98
Double checked the wiring diagram and if the alarm is working then the fuses and the relay must be good... So its either bad wire between the horn switch to clockspring or a bad clockspring. As for changing one I've never done it yet... (Sorry). The must advise I can give is disconnect the batteries at least 10-15 minutes before starting work this allows the airbag system to discharge and protect you from getting a face full of airbag... Might head over here and get a FSM... http://pdftown.com/Dodge-Ram-2001-Service-Manual.html

44RE woes: gear engagement issues...
On the Ram truck they are right near the cooler. Typically a fitting on the end of a steel cooler line hooking to a rubber line... As for the Jeep it could be the same thing...

Which level for Smarty
It's true there is lot of people with heavy boots... Play awhile on lower levels and learn to drive like a normal human...Then you can keep increasing levels till you find a level that works for ya... I'll admit it nice to run 5x5 on the Edge because the power is there if I need it but the rest of the time cruise control takes over.

Which level for Smarty
JL... I've learned how to drive with my Edge Comp cranked up... I leave it maxed out at 120 HP and can control my smoke with my foot. Just like ISX he's got no plate ot AFC control on his Ppump and he controls it solely with his foot.

Which level for Smarty
Personally from all the people I talk to they see better MPG perofrmance on the highest setting, but since your all stock you got to build up all your weak links first before going that direction...

lift pump want stop
Sorry that has nothing to do with the lift pump... That controls the VP44 power supply... As for the lift pump the ECM is in direct control of the lift pump... So your ECM is fried... (Sorry!)

Anyway to check how much wear a clutch has left?
I hate to say it you got to drop the trans and bellhousing to see the condition of the flywheel and plate...
