  1. I have a bolt with a cheap Chinese 1/2” drive socket welded to it, that I keep in the toolbox.
  2. I believe smarty is the only 2nd gen tuner like that, but it can be uninstalled. At least that’s my understanding.
  3. I have attached the number for an air switch that someone else here used for 2 whl low. You can find it on amazon. air switch suitable for vacuum: MJTV-5/Clippard
  4. Great job. This may motivate me to get busy installing the used BD eb that I picked up a year ago on Craigslist. It is off of a Ford and will require adapting for v-band clamps. It is air operated and the air cylinder was stuck. I got it freed up and then moved on to some other project. Hopefully will be able to find all the parts since we moved to a new place since I last worked on eb.
  5. If you jack axle up and spin wheel while turning adjuster it is easy to tell
  6. You might call a good lock shop. They may be able to help
  7. If it works that is the important thing. Like the orange vacuum line.
  8. All body parts and interior on 1500 will interchange so sounds like a good deal to me.
  9. Wondering if “do-it-yourself” bidet installation kits are flying off the shelves since t.p. is in such short supply?
  10. That kit is pretty much what I have, should work fine. You can get the needle valve locally or on line either way it is highly recommended.
  11. I meant to say the clutch safety switch or whatever it’s called
  12. If I remember correctly mine revs also and I have functional neutral safety switch. If I’m slowing to downshift anyway I just touch brake
  13. Most scanners won’t read 2nd gen ABS codes. Gotta spend some serious $$ for snap-on or similar.
  14. Look for “Vulcan Performance Draw straw 5”. Vulcan is an advertiser on this site. It will replace in-tank pump. Either need to tilt bed or remove tank to install. If you look in articles section I believe there is an article with photos of the install.
  15. Could get one in a salvage yard
  16. So sorry for your loss Mike. Will keep you and yours in our prayers.
  17. I had a set of Hankook Dynapro, if I remember correctly, on my company pickup, a 2015 Silverado 1500 that went 101,000 miles. I carried a lot of tools so was heavy for a 1/2 ton. Tires would have gone farther if I would’ve rotated them regularly. Have Toyo open country on my Dodge. Unsure of mileage but they seemed to wear quickly. Next set will likely be Hankooks.
  18. Maybe you should consider a complete cab replacement
